Regular Events

We could do with your help if you have a couple of hours spare on a Monday morning.  It is an opportunity to have coffee and chat.
Many of the parents who join us are new to the town and often have no family support.
They welcome the chance to meet other parents and for their children to play in a big space.

All adults welcome if accompanied by a child.

Foodcycle at Salvation Army, Slough

Foodcycle is a national charity with the vision of making food poverty, loneliness and food waste a thing of the past for every Community.

Slough based free communal meals’ service was launched 22 July 2024.
Every Monday 1pm, at Salvation Army, 53 Stoke Road – no voucher or referral system – everyone is welcome.

Children under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Please continue to mention this service to anyone that could benefit from a hearty, free, veggie meal – they will be warmly welcomed.

Child Contact Centre

2nd & 4th Saturday of the month 2.00pm-4.00pm

For more information if you need this service   –   NACCC entry

Good news, we received a grant from Ministry of Justice via NACCC which will take us up to early March 2026.

The Child Contact Centre has been running since 2006 and with other local centres closing there is a strong demand for places.

Volunteers and suggestions for sponsorship are always welcome.   Click for more information and contact details.

Child Contact Centre (CCC) – on 14 March the volunteers and board members gathered together after the day’s session to celebrate 20 years of the centre at St Mary’s, Slough. Two founder members, Jean and Joyce, were present.
Post covid the Slough centre has provided a venue for 90 families of 143 children with sessions 2nd and 4th Saturday in the month from 2pm to 4pm.
Two local centres have closed down so more families are seeking help from St Mary’s so that non resident parents can see their children in a safe environment.
The team are eager to continue to provide the service and would welcome more volunteers for the sessions and the board.
Please contact Jean for more information. Telephone: 07726 324589 Email: [email protected]
